Scrub Hats and Masks New on Etsy

 

In the past few weeks I've been learning how to make scrub hats of different designs.  These seem to be quite popular during these Covid days, for keeping hair covered and out of the way.  

I've added a few in the Alabaster Box Attire Etsy shop.  It is my shop solely for scrub hats and masks, separate from my shop with culottes, children's clothes, etc.  

These scrub hats are cut by hand, steam pressed, and sewn on a vintage Singer 401A.  They are made of quilter's cottons, with finished edges with no exposed seams.  Many if not all are reversible, or at the least adjustable.  

In keeping with my feminine theme, this scrub hat is made with peonies in beautiful colors.  It can fold up at the brim or be left as is.  It ties in the back and has elastic to make a small pouch for your hair.  

This hat has already been put to use in our local hospital.  It is a beautiful pink and white damask print with cream color ties.  

This hat is one of my favorites.  It has yet to be formally photographed and listed.  It is a pixie style with a Christian theme.  The seams are finished with a narrow binding.  

This pixie cut hat is an adjustable design.  The seams are encased inside itself for a professional finish.  Fold the brim up or down for different looks.  This is perfect for the fall/harvest season!   Pair it with coordinating scrubs for a great look.
