He Has Taken Care of Us

 

God has been so good to us!  

In the past months God has taken care of all needs.  He has not left us homeless, hungry, wanting.  He has been so good to us, faithful through the ups and downs of life despite our unfaithfulness.  

In our house, hubby was out of work for 2 months.  Things were pretty tight.  He is disabled, and from that has a mild income, but his RN position helps greatly to fill the gaps, make sure all bills are paid, and we buy groceries.  His part time/PRN work helps tremendously for taking care of us.  During the 2 months of no work between positions, hubby tended to his parents more intensely, as they needed near constant help.  We'd already been near by and tending needs as they arise for 12 years, but the past months since things with Covid started happening and things shut down and routines went wild, their own well-being went south as well.  God gave him time to help his mother through an amputation, and his dad through the harder times of dementia.  With the time off he worked with his siblings and local medical professionals to get them help in nursing care.  This was especially hard on him, but God never left.  

God has been there through quarantine time, through shortages of supplies, through church shut downs, school shut downs, business shut downs, fears and anxieties, and so much more.  He has kept us in an overabundance of supplies, food, kept our bills paid, and so on.  We have not lacked for anything.  

After 2 months of no work, hubby was hired into a position in a company that seems to be much better than what he had before.   God took care above and beyond!  Better hours, pay, scheduling...more than hubby could have asked for.  

Isn't God amazing?  He owns all the cattle on all the hills, and once in a while He sells off a cow and gives us the benefit beyond what we could do for ourselves on our own.  He goes above and beyond for His children, just like we as parents try to do for our own.
